Pediatric Epilepsy/EEG Fellowship – Dallas, TX

UT Southwestern Medical School and Children's Medical Center, Dallas, jointly offer one and two year fellowship positions in pediatric epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. The first year of training is an ACGME accredited clinical neurophysiology fellowship emphasizing pediatric EEG, inpatient epilepsy monitoring and surgical epilepsy evaluation and management in children, with rotations in the adult epilepsy monitoring unit, neuromuscular program and sleep laboratory. The second year allows qualified fellows an opportunity for greater focus on epilepsy surgery, intraoperative procedures and clinical research.

The Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Program has 4 full time pediatric epileptologists, a 6 bed pediatric inpatient monitoring unit, 2 bed ICU monitoring unit, 5 bed EEG lab and an active epilepsy surgery program. Our outpatient program sees more than 3,000 patients per year and has subspecialty programs for the ketogenic diet, VNS, and genetic epilepsy syndromes.
